Minar-e-Pakistan is a historical building located in the city of Lahore, Pakistan.  Its name is derived from Urdu word Minar and Persian word Pakistan.  This building was built on March 23, 1940 on the prediction of Mr. President of Pakistan.


The buildings of Minar-e-Pakistan consist of 7 minarets, each minaret is clothed just above.  The height of these minarets is up to several feet, due to which this building has been made very beautiful to look at from a distance.


The tower is surrounded by a park, which is a popular gathering place for locals and tourists alike. The park features fountains, pathways, and a large artificial lake. The area around the tower is also used for cultural and political events, including Independence Day celebrations, political rallies, and concerts.
